Gelonghui August 9?Asia Express (08620.HK) announcementBased on the Group's preliminary assessment of the unaudited consolidated management accounts for the three months ended 30 June 2023 and the information currently available to the Board, the Group is expected to record a profit of approximately HK $500000 to HK $1.5 million during the period ended 30 June 2022, compared with a loss of approximately HK $2.6 million for the three months ended 30 June 2022. The increase in profit during the period was mainly due to (I) increased revenue generated from the provision of warehousing and other value-added services, and (ii) the effect of comprehensive budget management and effective cost control of the Group.
