Kafushan Group Holdings (08512) announced interim results for 2023, with earnings of about HK $371 million, up 9.4% year-on-year; net profit of HK $59.523 million, up 58.7% year-on-year; and earnings per share of HK5.41 cents.
According to the announcement, the increase in net profit was mainly due to an increase in gross profit of about HK $39.5 million, but was offset by an increase in administrative expenses of about HK $14.1 million and an increase in financing costs of about HK $1.3 million.
