Zhitong Financial APP News, Feinion Holdings (08480) released interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2023. The group earned 107 million ringgit in income during the period, an increase of 84.79% over the same period last year. The profit attributable to shareholders is 2.492 million ringgit, down 50.89% from the same period last year. Basic earnings per share are RM0.41.
The announcement said that the increase in revenue was mainly due to the contribution of the new energy efficiency department to income of about 56.8 million ringgit (2022: 0 ringgit) during the period. However, the increase was offset by a decrease in revenue contributed by the production sector, which was due to a decrease in sales orders for the period compared with the same period in 2022 due to weak global demand.
