According to the Zhitong Finance App, Dongfang Huicai Securities (08001) announced its first quarter results for the three months ended June 30, 2023, with earnings of HK$5.242,000, a decrease of 47.6% over the previous year; company owners should account for a loss of HK$127,000, compared with a profit of HK$2,847 million in the same period last year; a loss of HK0.1 cents per share.
According to reports, the decline in earnings is mainly due to a decrease in interest income from lending services.
