Zhitong Financial App News, China Gas (08246) announced interim results for 2023, with income of about 127 million yuan (the same unit below), an increase of about 11.9% over the same period last year; profit attributable to company owners was 34.648 million yuan, compared with a loss of 25.579 million yuan in the same period last year; profit per share was 0.009 yuan.
According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to the sale of LNG to new customers in Tianjin and Shanghai from January 2023 and April 2022 respectively. The turnaround is mainly due to the reversal of the provision for impairment of trade receivables during the period.
