Zhitong Financial APP News, Asia Energy Logistics (00351) announced results for the first half of 2023, the company realized a year-on-year increase in revenue of about 123% to HK $78.098 million, a profit of HK $65000, compared with a loss of HK $32.928 million in the same period last year, with a basic and diluted profit of HK0.01 cents per share.
The announcement said that the improvement in performance was mainly due to an increase in income; the operating costs of shipping companies returned to normal levels when the COVID-19 outbreak was under control; and changes in the fair value of financial assets at fair value included in profit or loss.
