Zhitong Financial APP News, Austria China (08148) issued an announcement that the company expects to make a loss of about HK $2.4 million for the six months ended June 30, 2023, compared with a profit of about HK $200000 for the six months ended June 30, 2022.
According to the announcement, the expected turn from profit to loss of the Group during the period was mainly due to (I) a decrease in gross profit compared with previous periods due to an increase in the cost of sales of the software platform business during the period; and (ii) an increase in administrative and other operating expenses and financing costs during the period compared with previous periods.
