Zhitong Financial App News, Zhiao Holdings (08282) announced that according to a preliminary assessment of the Group's unaudited management accounts for the six months ended June 30, 2023 and the latest information available to the board of directors, the Group expects a net loss of approximately HK $9.8 million for the period, compared with a net loss of about HK $1.8 million for the same period in 2022.
The increase in the expected net loss is mainly attributable to a reduction of about 24% in the revenue contribution of the Group's licensed mobile games and independent ╱ joint research and development games compared with the same period in 2022; and the increase in staff costs during the period.
