Unifund Financial Technologies said Monday it would go public through a merger with Everest Consolidator Acquisition (NYSE:MNTN) for a pro-forma enterprise value of $232 million.
Unifund Financial Technologies is a data science and analytics company operating within the consumer debt servicing industry.
The newly formed company will operate under the name "Unifund Financial Technologies, Inc." and will be listed on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "UFND".
On a pro-forma basis, the combined entity is expected to have about $57 million in cash.
Existing equity holders of Unifund are expected to roll 100% of their equity holdings into the combined company.
The merger is expected to close as early as the fourth quarter of 2023.
