Lijing Pacific (00575) issued a profit warning, which is expected to record losses attributable to the company's equity holders of about US$12 million (or HK$93.6 million) to approximately US$150 million (or HK$117 million) for the period ending June 30, 2023. The sharp reduction in recorded losses is compared to the losses recorded by the company's equity holders of approximately US$2.06 million (or approximately HK$156 million) for the period ended June 30, 2022.
The changes in the unaudited consolidated interim results mentioned above compared to the corresponding period are mainly due to: i) During the reporting period, the Group recorded realized income of about US$91,000 (or about HK$710,000) in realized earnings of approximately US$91,000 (or approximately HK$710,000) and unrealized market price earnings of about US$19,000 (or approximately HK$148,000) over the reporting period (corresponding period: realized losses of approximately US$11 million (or approximately HK$37.8 million) and unrealized losses calculated at market price (approximately HK$33,36,000) over the reporting period or about HK$26,21 million)); ii ) During the reporting period, the Group recorded tax credits of approximately USD 2,89 million (or approximately HK$22,54 million), that is, deferred tax credits arising from amortization expenses relating to intangible assets (corresponding period: tax credits of approximately USD 1.29 million (or approximately HK$10,006 million)).
