Zhitong Financial App News, Dingshi Capital (00804) announced that at 04:00 on Friday, June 30, 2023 (that is, the final time limit for acceptance), the company received a total of one valid acceptance and application, involving a total of 106 million rights issue shares, equivalent to about 78.01% of the total number of rights issue shares submitted under the rights issue. As at the record date, there were no unqualified shareholders and the number of unsold rights issue shares by unqualified shareholders was zero. Based on the results of the above valid acceptance and application, the total number of unsubscribed rights issue shares involved in the compensation arrangement will be 29.7588 million rights issue shares.
At 06:00 on Thursday, 6 July 2023 (being the deadline for the placing Agent to place unsubscribed Rights shares), all 29.7588 million unsubscribed Rights shares were successfully placed in accordance with the placing event, the price involved is HK $0.225 per share (equivalent to the subscription price). As a result, there is no net income available for distribution to inactive and unqualified shareholders based on the placing.
In accordance with the result of the acceptance of the rights issue and the results of the placing event, the rights issue shares to be allotted and issued are 135 million rights issue shares, which is equivalent to 100 per cent of the total number of rights issue shares proposed under the rights issue.
As a result, the net income from the rights issue (after deducting expenses) is about HK $29.95 million.
