Zhitong Financial App News, Century Entertainment International (00959) announced no income for the year ended March 31, 2023, with an income of about HK $200000 for the same period in 2022; a net loss of HK $62.549 million, a year-on-year increase of about 16.02 times; and a loss per share of about HK48.77 cents.
The announcement said that the decrease in revenue was mainly due to the spread of COVID-19 and the temporary closure of all casinos in Cambodia from April 1, 2020, which affected the casino business, while the reopening of casinos was still under way. The change in net loss was mainly due to an increase of approximately HK $10.8 million in write-off ╱ impairment loss on intangible assets and an increase of approximately HK $10.3 million in impairment loss on accounts receivable and other receivables (net of reversal).
