Zhitong Financial App News, CHEVALIER INT'L (00025) announced its results for the year ended March 31, 2023, with income of HK $7.1 billion, down 17.78% from the same period last year; profit attributable to shareholders of HK $234 million, down 63.71% from the same period last year; earnings per share of HK $0.77; and proposed final dividend of HK $0.28 per share.
As of March 31, 2023, the net asset value of the group attributable to shareholders was HK $10.386 billion, equivalent to a decrease of HK $203 million from HK $10.589 billion last year. The decrease was mainly due to foreign exchange differences of HK $295 million in overseas subsidiaries, associates and joint venture businesses and the payment of dividends of HK $136 million. However, this was offset by a profit attributable to the company's shareholders of HK $234 million.
