Gelonghui June 29?01591.HK reported a profit of HK $313 million for the year ended March 31, 2023, an increase of 29.14% over the same period last year, and a profit of HK $18.932 million for the period attributable to shareholders, compared with a loss of HK $4.495 million for the same period last year.
The increase in revenue was mainly due to the undertaking of a number of major construction projects awarded by the Group in 2021 and 2022 during the year under review.
As at 31 March 2023, the Group has a total of 12 ongoing projects (including projects that have been started but not yet completed and projects that have been granted but not yet started) with an original contract value of approximately HK $569.5 million.
