According to the Zhitong Finance App, VICON HOLDINGS (03878) announced results for the year ended March 31, 2023. The group's revenue was HK$417 million, up 166.32% year on year; shareholders should have a profit of HK$2.391 million. In the same period last year, it had a loss of HK$24.561 million, a profit of HK0.5 cents per share.
According to the announcement, the increase in revenue was mainly due to (i) a number of projects with relatively low contract amounts completed in the year ended March 31, 2022, while the contract amounts for a number of new projects undertaken in the year ended March 31, 2023 were larger; and (ii) the increase in the number of available tenders for groundwork projects this year.
