Gelonghui June 23 丨Digital Technology Group (02350.HK) announced,Total revenue for the year ended March 31, 2023 was approximately HK$753 million, an increase of approximately 19.2% over the previous year.The Group's profit was approximately HK$43.7 million, a decrease of approximately 7.6% compared to the previous year. The decrease was mainly due to increased annual sales and distribution and administrative expenses. The basic earnings per share for the year were HK7.75 cents, compared to HK9.45 cents in the previous year.
As an IT solutions provider, the Group mainly engages in (i) distributing IT products in Hong Kong, Macau and China; and (ii) providing system integration solutions for IT systems in Hong Kong, China and Macau, involving integrated system design, hardware and software development and/or implementation, hardware and software coordination, system configuration, and technical and maintenance support services.
The Group (i) operates a distribution business as an authorized distributor to procure IT products from IT product manufacturers and redistribute them to downstream dealers; and (ii) operates a system integration solution business, purchasing IT products from authorized distributors as a system integration solution provider, integrating them into customized system integration solutions and reselling them to end users.
The increase in total revenue was due to the cumulative impact of increased sales of content delivery network licensing in the company's distribution business and the increase in procurement of IT products and provision of IT infrastructure solution services in the company's system integration solutions business.
