El-Erian Says Earnings Show US Recession Not a 'Done Deal'
Mohamed El-Erian, chief economic adviser at Allianz and Bloomberg Opinion columnist, says a US recession is "not a done deal" after the positive signs for the economy seen in the most recent corporate earnings season. "It's difficult to extrapolate to the general economy an absolute recession based on the earnings. In fact, what the earnings tell you is that is possible, but it's not a done deal," he says on "Blomberg The Open."
