Getty Images Holdings (NYSE:GETY) stock shot up nearly 30% in afternoon trading Tuesday.
Shares of the visual content provider opened at $5.38, later climbing to a session high of $6.94 in mid-afternoon. The stock recently changed hands at $6.88 at around 2:00 p.m. ET. Getty did not appear to release any news or make any SEC filings on Tuesday.
Getty went public in late July through a merger with SPAC CC Neuberger Principal Holdings II. Getty's stock soared nearly 150% during its debut, but began trending downward by mid-August. The stock hit a 52-week high of $37.88 on Aug. 2 and a low of $4.51 on Oct. 24.
