$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$A few days ago, the RTX 4090 graphics card was officially sold, which is a new generation of nuclear bomb / card king, with a price of 12999 yuan. Although people complained about the high price before listing, and there were even signs of breaking, the situation was completely different after listing. Not only did not break, the price also rose.

It's not just an increase in prices. After the first batch of release, the supply of RTX 4090 graphics cards is obviously not optimistic, and the official flagship stores of major brands are generally in reservation, that is, out of stock.

As for why it is out of stock and the price goes upNVIDIA officials have not responded yet, and there are reports that NVIDIA has shifted production capacity to a higher-end H100 acceleration card. The price of this video card is much higher than that of RTX 4090 graphics card. Previous information leaked in Japan shows that the PCIe version costs more than 4.75 million yen, RMB more than 240000 yuan, and the SXM version should be more expensive.

The H100 accelerator card was released in March this year, and at the GTC conference in September, NVIDIA also announced that the H100 graphics card would start shipping in October, with Amazon.Com Inc, Alphabet Inc-CL C and Microsoft Corp being the first cloud service providers to be practical, as well as scientific research institutions and universities, with strong demand.

H100 accelerator card uses Hopper architecture, GH100 core, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co Ltd 4nm manufacturing technology, CoWoS 2.5D packaging technology, integrated 80 billion transistors, core area of 814mm.

It has 18432 CUDA cores, 576 Tensor cores, 60MB secondary cache, supports six HBM3/HBM2e with 6144-bit bit width, supports PCIe 5.0and supports the fourth generation NVLink bus.

H100 computing cards are available in SXM and PCIe 5.0style, of which SXM version has 15872 CUDA cores and 528 Tensor coresPCIe version 5.0 has 14952 CUDA cores and 456 Tensor cores, with a maximum power consumption of 700W.
