As AptarGroup, Inc.'s (NYSE:ATR)) Market Cap Dropped by US$199m, Insiders Who Sold US$689k Worth of Stock Were Able to Offset Their Losses

Over the past year, insiders sold US$689k worth of AptarGroup, Inc. (NYSE:ATR) stock at an average price of US$113 per share allowing them to get the most out of their money. The company's market valuation decreased by US$199m after the stock price dropped 3.1% over the past week, but insiders were spared from painful losses.

While insider selling is a negative, to us, it is more negative if the shares are sold at a lower price. The good news is that this large sale was at well above current price of US$95.03. So it may not tell us anything about how insiders feel about the current share price.

Insiders At AptarGroup Have Sold Stock Recently

The last three months saw significant insider selling at AptarGroup. In total, President of Aptar Food + Beverage Heidi Tlili dumped US$560k worth of shares in that time, and we didn't record any purchases whatsoever. Overall this makes us a bit cautious, but it's not the be all and end all.
