07:49 AM EDT, 09/29/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Tenneco (TEN) said Thursday that it has received a contract from Li Auto (LI) to supply the electronic suspension technology for the electric automaker's upcoming L9 sports utility vehicle.
The company said its advanced suspension technologies unit will manufacture its Monroe brand of CVSAe electronic dampers for the new luxury model at its plant in Changzhou, China.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Tenneco shares gained about 2% in premarket trading, while Li Auto shares slipped 2.5%.
