Benzinga Real-time News ·  Sep 27, 2022 09:12
  • Hertz (HTZ) - A play on implications for the rental car space from the wider auto industry. Hertz shares traded modestly higher Tuesday morning following news of a company deal with BP (BP) in which BP will install electric-vehicle charging stations for use by Hertz and its customers.

  • Rumble (RUM) - A play on a competitor to YouTube. Actor, comedian and now-famed YouTuber, Russell Brand, will launch a daily show on the Rumble video-sharing platform Wednesday of this week.

  • Latham Group (SWIM) - A play on swimming pool maintenance. Florida will see one of its first major hurricanes of 2022 hit this week, Hurricane Ian. Latham has been a play following major weather events over the last few years as home and property owners have needed to renovate their pools.

  • Aurora Mobile (JG) - A play on a partnership with a Warren Buffett-backed maker of electric vehicles. Aurora Mobile will provide a messaging cloud solution for electric vehicle company BYD. Shares of Aurora Mobile may not be responding dramatically to the news given that Aurora and BYD previously announced a partnership, back in 2021.

  • Intelligent Living (ILAG) - One of Tuesday's penny-stock, low-float du jour names. Shares of this relatively new issue (the stock went public at the end of July) were up more than 20% on no news Tuesday morning. The issue has about 9 million shares in its float.
