Insiders seem to have made the most of their holdings by selling US$2.1m worth of Skyline Champion Corporation (NYSE:SKY) stock at an average sell price of US$68.21 during the past year. The company's market worth decreased by US$194m over the past week after the stock price dropped 6.3%, although insiders were able to minimize their losses

Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

Skyline Champion Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

The Executive Vice President of Sales & Business Development, Jonathan Lyall, made the biggest insider sale in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for US$1.5m worth of shares at a price of US$73.67 each. We generally don't like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. The silver lining is that this sell-down took place above the latest price (US$50.91). So it is hard to draw any strong conclusion from it.
