S&P Dow Jones Unveils Changes to S&P 500, MidCap, SmallCap Indices

12:07 PM EDT, 09/26/2022 (MT Newswires) -- S&P Dow Jones Indices said late Friday it will make several changes to the S&P 500, S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600 indices.

PG&E (PCG) will replace Citrix Systems (CTXS) in the S&P 500 on Oct. 3. Vista Equity Partners is buying Citrix in a deal expected to be completed Sept. 30.

EQT (EQT) will replace Duke Realty (DRE) in the S&P 500 and ExlService (EXLS) will replace EQT in the S&P MidCap 400 while Mister Car Wash (MCW) will replace ExlService in the S&P SmallCap 600 on Oct. 3. Prologis (PLD) is buying Duke Realty in a deal expected to be completed soon.

Leslie's (LESL) will replace GCP Applied Technologies (GCP) in the S&P SmallCap 600 on Sept. 28. Saint-Gobain is acquiring GCP in deal expected to be completed soon.

CBTX (CBTX) will replace Allegiance Bancshares (ABTX) in the S&P SmallCap 600 on Oct. 3. CBTX is acquiring Allegiance Bancshares in a deal expected to be completed Oct. 1. The combined company will change its name to Stellar Bancorp (STEL).

Xperi (XPER) will be added to the S&P SmallCap 600 on Oct. 3 replacing SelectQuote (SLQT), which will be removed from the S&P SmallCap 600 index. Xperi is spinning off Xperi (new) in a deal expected to be completed Oct. 3. After the spin-off, parent company Xperi will remain in the S&P SmallCap 600 and will change its name and ticker symbol to Adeia (ADEA).
