02 :29 AM EDT, 08/30/2022 (MT Newswires) -- China Oceanwide Holdings' (HKG:0715) first-half loss widened from a year ago, driven by lower revenue and a fair value loss, a Monday stock filing showed.
Attributable loss for the period increased to HK$728.8 million ($92.9 million), or HK$0.0451 per share, from HK$567.9 million, or HK$0.0352 per share, a year earlier.
Revenue at the property developer fell by nearly half to HK$28.0 million from HK$54.6 million a year ago.
The company incurred a fair value loss of about HK$118.5 million from deconsolidated subsidiaries.
Shares dipped nearly 7% in Tuesday's afternoon trading.
