01:26 PM EDT, 08/26/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Open Text (OTEX) said it agreed to acquire Micro Focus International (MFGP) for $6 billion, including debt, to add revenue and scale to its software and cloud businesses.
Shares of Micro Focus were up 93% by Friday afternoon as intraday trading volume climbed to 5.6 million from its daily average of about 415,000.
