Sun.King Technology Group's H1 Loss Narrows; Shares Slip 4%

03:37 AM EDT, 08/25/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Sun.King Technology Group's (HKG:0580) loss attributable to owners in the six months ended June 30 narrowed to 7.1 million yuan ($1 million) from 11 million yuan in the year prior, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

Loss per share in the same half-year period came to 0.0044 yuan from 0.0067 yuan.

The electronic component manufacturing company's revenue dropped 14.4% to 420 million yuan from 490.8 million yuan, while gross profit fell 8.8% to 115.7 million yuan from 126.8 million yuan.

Sun.King's board did not recommend the payment of an interim dividend for the first half of 2022.

Shares of the company declined 4% in afternoon trade.
