The Chinese drugmaker's VFEND voriconazole 200 milligram injection is designed to treat patients with progressive, potentially life-threatening fungal infections, according to a filing on Monday.
The injection is a generic variant of Pfizer's voriconazole, which was approved for use by the European Medicines Agency in March 2002 and the US Food and Drug Administration in May 2002.
