Whilst it may not be a huge deal, we thought it was good to see that the Channel Micron Holdings Company Limited (HKG:2115) Executive Chairman, Yew Sum Ng, recently bought HK$155k worth of stock, for HK$0.17 per share. Nevertheless, it only increased their shareholding by a minuscule percentage, and it wasn't a massive purchase by absolute value, either.

Channel Micron Holdings Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

The insider Mong Tet Chia made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for HK$678k worth of shares at a price of HK$0.13 each. Even though the purchase was made at a significantly lower price than the recent price (HK$0.15), we still think insider buying is a positive. While it does suggest insiders consider the stock undervalued at lower prices, this transaction doesn't tell us much about what they think of current prices.
