Liaoning Port Provides Updates on Several Lawsuits

12:51 AM EDT, 06/23/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Liaoning Port (SHA:601880, HKG:2880) said in a filing on Wednesday that the first-instance judgment of two cases involving the company was made and appeals were filed to the court.

One case has been concluded and another case is under enforcement. Meanwhile, four other cases undergo first instance.

The case where the company serves as the plaintiff has an amount involving 300 million yuan ($44.7 million), while the seven other cases where Liaoning Port is the defendant amount to 1.07 billion yuan in total.

The company said the outcome of the litigation and compensation obligations in the cases cannot be estimated at this time.
