Sun Hung Kai Limited (the “Company”) announced on 31 January 2024 that its independent non-executive director, Mr. Wayne Robert Porritt, was appointed in December 2023 as a director of several groups of companies primarily engaged in investment holdings to assist in the interim management of these companies. These include companies incorporated in the British Virgin Islands and Samoa. In January 2024, the relevant creditors appointed an administrative receiver/receiver under the mortgage agreement. Mr. Porritt has extensive experience in the banking and financial sectors and has been involved in the restructuring of several companies.
