LONGQUANG GROUP LIMITED (THE “COMPANY”) ISSUED AN INFORMATION UPDATE AND VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT ON 15 JANUARY 2024, MENTIONING THE DATE AND CONTENT OF A PREVIOUS SERIES OF ANNOUNCEMENTS. The Company applied to withdraw the Hong Kong Petition at a High Court hearing under the terms of the Creditor Support Agreement. However, at the request of another group of creditors, the court decided to adjourn the hearing from four weeks to 12 February 2024. DURING THIS PERIOD, THE COMPANY AND ITS FINANCIAL ADVISORS WILL CONTINUE TO CONSULT WITH OTHER CREDITORS TO REACH A CONSENSUS ON THE OVERALL RESTRUCTURING OF THE COMPANY'S EXTERNAL DEBT.
