After the trading period of 4 January 2024, Xinyi Photovoltaic Energy and Xinyi Glass signed a new agreement for the sale and purchase of silica sand, valid from 1 January to 31 December 2024. The agreement continues the ongoing interconnected transaction between the two parties. Xinyi Photovoltaic will continue to supply silicon sand to Xinyi Glass for the production of float glass, while Xinyi Glass will purchase low-iron silica sand from Xinyi Photovoltaic for the production of solar glass. These transactions are considered to be independent and should not be complied with and comply with the declaration and announcement requirements of Chapter 14A of the Listing Rules, but are exempt from compliance with Circulars and Shareholder Approvals. As a major shareholder of Shinyi Light Energy, these transactions constitute an ongoing connected transaction.
