Metu Corporation announced on January 1, 2024 that it has awarded employees a total of 68,850 share awards under its Share Award Scheme, representing approximately 0.002% of the total issued shares. The bonus shares will be distributed at a zero purchase price to align employees' interests with those of the company and recognize employee contributions and attract and retain talent. The Board considers this move to be in line with the Company's current situation and development needs. Once granted, there are 63,806,540 shares available for future issuance under the Share Award Scheme. The Share Award Scheme was adopted on 25 November 2016 and does not set any performance targets. If the grantor is no longer an employee or consultant, the unattributed bonus will automatically expire.
