According to preliminary statistics, China Power and its subsidiaries combined total electricity sales reached 92,089,647 MW, a decrease of 5.09% compared to the same period last year. Among them, hydropower generation fell by 37.48%, while wind, photovoltaic and environmental generation increased by 72.86%, 41.98% and 791.46%, respectively. COAL-FIRED POWER GENERATION DECREASED BY 17.96%, PARTLY DUE TO THE SALE OF A PORTION OF ITS SHARES IN A COAL-FIRED POWER SUBSIDIARY AT THE END OF LAST YEAR, WHICH TRANSFORMED THE TWO SUBSIDIARIES INTO A JOINT VENTURE. In addition, China Power has completed the acquisition of certain clean energy project companies and will incorporate their electricity sales and financial information into the Group's financial statements from October 2023.
