$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ CEO Jensen Huang announced a brand-new large GPU chip for AI processing shortly after 4 PM EST. The "Superchip" is larger than the most advanced GPU chip in production today during the GTC Keynote presentation.

He said it was large enough to support a "trillion-parameter" AI large language model, which he calls the next generation of the Industrial Revolution.

"We created a chip for the AI Generative era," Huang said.
