Scholastic's share price and profitability surge in recent years are positive. Yet, the recent sell-off could be an opportunity for investors if long-term growth trend signs are evident in the fundamental data.
Scholastic Corporation's high P/E ratio is justified by its superior earnings outlook. Investors anticipate strong future growth, making them willing to pay more for the stock.
Despite Scholastic's lower ROE, its significant net income growth and efficient reinvestment of earnings are positives. Analysts forecast similar earnings growth rate.
Based on Scholastic's stable ROCE trend and low return compared to the industry, it appears the company may not be a promising choice for investors seeking a multi-bagger stock.
SCHL's future growth seemingly reflected in its current share price, trading above industry price multiples. With a high PE ratio and recent share price rise, it might not be the ideal time to buy as chances of further mispricing upside are low.
Based on the company's long-term performance, it suggests that the recent pullback in the share price could offer a potential opportunity given company's improved profitability in recent years, which could eventually reflect in the share price.

I wish to confiscate their money printing machine that all the money goes to a minority of non spending organisation wishing to control the world and model it to their liking
Shootingstar小桥戏水:
Like all business economy model around the world the money printed will eventually flow back to the government by spending on essentials like good and petrol and majority by tax. They print to give only to get it back. In Singapore gst is going up but the gov gives out small moneys to it's citizens only to get it back a thousand fold
Shootingstarbindian:
They are too many redundant government officials around the world having year on year salary increases and bonuses without any competition for their jobs like that of the middle income which is the pillar of any economy
