$バオズン(BZUN.US)$ Baozun E-SW recently announced that Baotong Co., Ltd. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Baotong Co., Ltd. of Warehousing and fulfillment Solutions have entered into a share purchase and subscription agreement with Cainiao Network in connection with its 30% equity investment in Baotong. Baozun, Baotong and Cainiao also signed a business cooperation agreement to further explore and develop branded e-commerce opportunities.
The $217.9 million investment is subject to customary closing conditions. Baozun believes cainiao's investment will help Baotong accelerate its efforts to capture growth opportunities in China's e-commerce sector. Upon completion of this investment, the company will leverage cainiao's nationwide logistics expertise and standardized technology to further improve its cost structure and diversify its service offerings.
