SoundOfMusic :
Would potential tariffs be only on these three EV companies (BYD, SAIC and Geely), and not Xpeng? Who knows? Could Xpeng be more transparent with their financials because they are traded in US and have provided filings? Therefore, Xpeng is not targeted?
ZnWCスレ主SoundOfMusic:
Based on another source, the 3 Chinese EV makers received the highest subsidies which is why they are targeted. If Xpeng receives subsidies from the Chinese government, it will definitely be investigated. Another reason, Xpeng is not targeted yet is because the company has not exported or planned to export cars to the EU. Tesla is not targeted because it has a Gigafactory in Berlin, Germany making and delivering EVs to the regions. China gives EV sector billions of yuan in subsidies. $SAIC Motor Corporation(600104.SH)$ In a just released video the IM L6 sedan manages to do the moose test at 71 km/h. Not such an impressive speed until you realize that it did this driverless. In the run up to the car's launch in May, SAIC are heavily pushing the car's capabilities especially with regard to its 'smart digital chassis' and have also shown the IM L6 performing other near impossible car feats. Probably helping the IM L6 achieve the result is th...
$SAIC Motor Corporation(600104.SH)$ The Hyundai IONIQ 6 was a finalist in the European 2023 CleanTechnica Car of the Year competition. However, it was a much more competitive crew over in Europe, the Hyundai IONIQ 6 just barely lost to the MG4, an impressive value-for-money offering the US lacks. The MG4 ended with 30.5% of the vote, the IONIQ 6 ended with a little less, 29.1% of the vote, and Volkswagen ID. Buzz got a respectable 21.2% ...
$SAIC Motor Corporation(600104.SH)$ This is a very different MG than you think you know. It's also proof of just how good China's EVs really are. Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp. (SAIC) acquired MG Motor UK Limited in 2007. Then, in 2022, the MG4 arrived. It was based on a new purpose-built EV platform with a look that meant it wouldn't blend in, respectable ranges from sensibly sized batteries, acceptable performance and, perhaps most impor...
SAIC Motor's low P/E ratio is due to its weak growth forecast compared to the market. The pessimism about future earnings among shareholders may continue to constrain the stock price.
SAIC Motor's sinking ROCE and heightened risk from a large current liabilities to total assets ratio tarnishes its appeal to growth-focused investors. The market's pessimism about these trends hardening is marked by the stock's underperformance in the past five years.
$SAIC Motor Corporation(600104.SH)$ Covering just over 100,000 miles in 2 years is a lot for any car, but that's what happens sometimes with work vehicles. They need to be reliable and cost-efficient, otherwise, they don't make financial sense. Especially when the work vehicle is used to fix other cars on the road. A pickup truck probably comes to mind when thinking about road assistance vehicles, but as you can see in the video embedd...
