Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is nearing an agreement to plead guilty to criminal conduct to resolve a multiyear emissions fraud probe surrounding Ram pickup trucks and Jeep sport-utility vehicles with diesel engines, people familiar with the matter said.

Stellantis and unions reached an agreement on Tuesday on a planned restructuring of the group's production in the Italian city of Turin, which will be completed by mid-January, FIM, UILM, FISMIC, UGLM and AQCFR unions said.

MONTE DEI PASCHI BMPS.MI

Italy plans to negotiate with the European Commission a "long extension" of the deadline to cut Rome's 64% stake in ailing bank Monte dei Paschi di Siena, a source close to the matter told Reuters. The extension to be requested by the Treasury would amount to "years," the source said, without detailing.

ENI ENI.MI

The Italian energy group and private equity firm HitecVision said on Tuesday they could list Norwegian oil and gas producer Vaar Energi as part of a strategic review of their joint venture.

Egypt's petroleum ministry said on Tuesday Eni Eni had made three oil and gas discoveries in the western desert with confirmed reserves amounting to about 50 million barrels of oil equivalent.

TELECOM ITALIA TLIT.MI

Brazilian telecom firm TIM SA TIM3.SA will on Wednesday submit proposals to participate in the country's auction of 5G mobile spectrum, a director said during an earnings conference call on Tuesday. Also, the company is considering spinning off businesses including IOT and mobile advertising operations.

GENERALI GASI.MI , CATTOLICA CASS.MI

Investors have tendered shares equivalent to 20% of Cattolica's capital under Generali's buyout offer, bourse data showed on Tuesday. When including its own stake, Generali owns at least 43.6% of Cattolica, not far from the 50% plus one share threshold that set for the offer to be valid.

RENO DE MEDICI RDM.MI

The Rimini Bidco vehicle of funds managed by Apollo Global Management APO.N has filed with Italy's market regulator the document for its 1.45 euro-per-share mandatory buyout offer for Reno de Medici, after buying a 57.6% stake in the Italian coated recycled carton-board maker from Cascades CAS.TO .

SANLORENZO SNL.MI , THE ITALIAN SEA GROUP TISFGR.MI

Italian yacht maker Sanlorenzo and rival Ferretti Group have submitted a binding offer to buy bankrupt peer Perini Navi through their Restart joint-venture. Another offer, worth 47 million euros, has been filed by the Italian Sea Group
