Ceres Power Holdings PLC said Thursday that Eric Lakin has been appointed chief financial officer and that he will be taking up the position in January.
The fuel-cell technology and engineering company said current CFO Richard Preston has decided to step down for personal reasons. He will leave the board once Mr. Lakin joins Ceres and will remain an employee for a period to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
Shares at 0842 GMT were up 11.00 pence, or 1%, at 1,138.00 pence.
