By Stephen Nakrosis
Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. on Friday said its Atlas Air Inc. subsidiary completed a new joint collective-bargaining agreement for its Atlas Air and Southern Air pilots.
The company said the five-year agreement "is one of the last major steps in completing Atlas Air's merger with Southern Air."
Atlas Air said it acquired Southern Air in 2016.
The company also said Atlas Air and Southern Air pilots "will receive higher pay and enhanced benefits as part of the overall competitive package."
The pilots are represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Atlas Air said.
