According to Amazon,In an email sent to employees on Thursday, the company wants its white-collar workers to return to the office at least three days a week from September, softening its stance compared with the company's insistence on "returning to an office-centric corporate culture" earlier this year.
Amazon said it expected most office workers in the US, UK and several other countries to return to an on-site work model in the week of Sept. 7. Employees can apply for exemption from this restriction, but must be approved. Employees can also choose to telecommute entirely from a location in the United States for up to four weeks a year.
