Sina Technology News On the evening of April 28, in response to a serious collision and fire accident involving an M7 Plus in Yuncheng, Shanxi, Bosch responded that the vehicle involved was not equipped with a Bosch Smart Driving System (including AEB).

Recently, a Wenjie M7 Plus car in Yuncheng, Shanxi collided and caught fire. As a result, three people inside the car were unfortunately killed. The car owner's family claimed that the airbags had not blown up at the time of the incident. AITO Motor responded that according to the national platform data access regulations, it was learned that the vehicle had a speed of 115 km/h at the time of the accident, the airbags were opened normally, and the characteristics of the power battery pack were normal. “We are actively cooperating with the local traffic police department to investigate the accident, provide all necessary data to restore the cause of the accident, and provide all possible support to the families.”

Rumor has it that the M7 Plus is not a high-end smart driving model. It uses the Bosch solution. The maximum speed range is 85 km/h. The car's speed was 115 km/h at the time of the accident, which had already exceeded the maximum limit of Bosch AEB.

Today, Bosch issued a statement saying that after investigation, the vehicles involved were not equipped with Bosch smart driving systems (including AEB). Bosch is deeply saddened by the deaths and injuries caused by the accident and expressed deep condolences to the victims.

Also, according to an AutoLab report, the M7 Plus in the Yuncheng, Shanxi accident was equipped with a complete ADAS solution not from Bosch, but from Fretech FreeTech. Both companies are equipped with the M7 Plus and are AB supplies.

According to data, Freitech FreeTech is an intelligent driving solution service provider and product supplier. Currently, the company has yet to take a stand on the matter.
