Guang Lai Technology (06036.HK) announced on August 30th that in the first half of 2023, the company's revenue was about 929.6 million Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of 43.1 percent compared with the first half of 2022. The net loss attributable to the owners of the company in the first half of the year was about HK $17.7 million (first half of 2022: net profit HK $6.5 million).
The decline in earnings was caused by the continued decline in the prices of some products.
