According to Zhitong Financial App, Jiarui International (00822) announced the results for the first half of 2023. The company's revenue fell 23.4% year on year to HK$532 million. Shareholders should account for a loss of HK$21.7 million, while shareholders should have accounted for a profit of HK$18.5 million for the same period last year; each share lost 2.43 HK cents.
The announcement stated that the decline in revenue was mainly due to poor sales performance in the plastics, zinc and magnesium alloys business.
