On Monday local time, CS.US said it planned to repay about $400m to investors in its Greensill Capital-linked supply chain finance fund, the fifth such payment since the bank was forced to freeze its pool of funds this year.
The latest payment is expected to be made this week, bringing the total to fund investors to about $6.3 billion, according to a statement on Credit Suisse's website. The bank said the cash position associated with the Greensill fund was about $7 billion, about 70 per cent of the assets under management at the time of liquidation.
In addition, Credit Suisse said it was still investigating funds related to Greensill and would release its findings in the near future.
