HUTCHTEL HK (00215.HK) has poured over $3 billion in expanding mobile network and developing 5G network since 2019, and will continue to be watchful of any investment and acquisition opportunities in Hong Kong or overseas, said Chairman Canning Fok at the press conference.

The company had distributed two times of special dividend after selling fixed network business in 2017, said Fok, who pledged to make good use of the money, adding the company will return to shareholders by way of dividend in absence of promising opportunity.

Unworried about the business performance, the Chairman was sanguine about the company's outlook, believing roaming fee income to come back sooner or later with ascending vaccination rate.

HUTCHTEL HK(00215.HK)主席霍建寧在新聞發佈會上表示，自2019年以來，HUTCHTEL HK(00215.HK)已投入超過30億美元用於擴大移動網絡和發展5G網絡，並將繼續關注香港或海外的任何投資和收購機會。霍建華表示，該公司在2017年出售固網業務後，已經發放了兩次特別股息。他承諾將很好地利用這筆錢，並補充説，在沒有希望的機會的情況下，公司將以股息的方式返還給股東。董事長並不擔心業務表現，他對公司的前景持樂觀態度，認為漫遊費收入遲早會隨着疫苗接種率的上升而回升。
