MCE Holdings Seals Radar Tech JV With Nanjing Chuhang
Under the terms, MCE will hold a controlling 51% stake, with Nanjing Chuhang owning the remaining 49%.
Malaysian automotive electronics specialist MCE Holdings Bhd has formalised a strategic joint venture with Chinese radar technology pioneer Nanjing Chuhang Technology Co Ltd to manufacture and market automotive millimetre-wave radar systems, a cornerstone of next-generation driver assistance and autonomous vehicle technologies.
馬來西亞汽車電子專家MCE Holdings Bhd已與中國雷達技術先驅南京楚航科技有限公司正式成立戰略合資企業，生產和銷售汽車毫米波雷達系統，這是下一代駕駛輔助和自動駕駛汽車技術的基石。
The landmark agreement was signed at the Malaysia Pavilion during the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, as part of the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute's (MARii) NxGv: Game Changer in Energy Transition and Mobility showcase. It was witnessed by Pavilion Director Ellyza Mastura and MARii Chief Executive Officer Azrul Reza Aziz.

Structured through MCE's wholly owned subsidiary, MCE Ventures Sdn Bhd, the joint venture (JV) will focus on developing, producing and commercialising radar sensors for both the domestic and international automotive markets, excluding China.
該合資企業（JV）由MCE的全資子公司MCE Ventures Sdn Bhd組成，將專注於爲國內和國際汽車市場（不包括中國）開發、生產和商業化雷達傳感器。
Under the terms, MCE will hold a controlling 51% stake, with Nanjing Chuhang owning the remaining 49%.
根據條款，MCE將持有51％的控股權，南京楚航擁有其餘的49％。
"These sensors are fundamental to the safety and intelligence of modern vehicles.

"By integrating Nanjing Chuhang's cutting-edge radar technology with MCE's proven manufacturing capabilities, we are positioning ourselves to meet the surging global demand for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technologies," MCE group Managing Director Dr Goh Kar Chun said.

Goh shared that the millimetre-wave radar is a critical component of ADAS as it enables vehicles to detect and interpret their surroundings with high precision, a capability that is becoming essential as the automotive industry shifts towards automation and intelligent mobility.
吳分享說，毫米波雷達是ADAS的關鍵組件，因爲它使車輛能夠高精度地檢測和解釋周圍環境，隨着汽車行業向自動化和智能出行轉變，這種能力變得越來越重要。
The JV represents a significant expansion of MCE's automotive electronics portfolio and supports its broader ambition to deliver high-value, tech-forward solutions from Malaysia to global markets.
