The broader market showed firmer momentum. The FBM 70 climbed 73.01 points to 16,945.92, while the FBM Emas rose 30.05 points to 11,866.38. Meanwhile, the Shariah Index gained 42.56 points to 11,813.61, and the F4GBM Index improved 2.29 points to 956.78.

On the active stocks list, Sapura Energy (SAPNRG) led the volume board with 392.4 million shares traded, unchanged at 4.5 sen. SFPTech added 1.5 sen to 25 sen with over 207 million shares done, while Aemulus surged 3.5 sen to 30 sen.
